Kitsilano

Kitsilano Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Vancouver, especially in the warm summer months. Located at the north edge of the Kitsilano neighbourhood, the beach faces out onto English Bay. Really awesome beach to visit in summer. It has got spectacular views. There is an indoor beach if you don't want to be swimming in the salt water. The beach gets a lot of crowd during summer especially the young ones. There is a biking and walking trail very close to the beach which connects to the maritime museum. Good to bring kids, bike or spend time under sun. I have seen some people play beach volleyball as well.
