Nowadays, food has become easier to prepare. Has this change improved the way people live? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Man has passed from different eras and the way of providing food for his nutrition has been changed during history. It began with hunting and eating raw fruits and meats, and now we have preprocessed food in every market and grocery store.
This situation and the differences between lifestyles and, as well as, the time we consume for preparing foods has some pros and cons. Some people say decreasing time for food preparation has made our lives easier and the other say preprocessed foods have some disadvantages. In the following paragraphs, I try to gather some of these benefits and detriments.
First of all, preprocessed foods need less time for preparation. There is no need to go store by store for buying different ingredients of a specific food like spices, vegetables, bread, meat, beans, etc. Also, there is no need to waste much a lot of time washing, cutting, baking, frying, and cleaning for one meal. Now you can buy preprocessed foods and use a microwave, oven, or stove for preparation. In this regard, you can spend more time with your beloved partner, watch a movie, walk with your dog or even exercise and have a happier life.
Second of all, if you have a high income, you can eat your meals in different restaurants. You can try fresh foods from different restaurants with good services, and also you can taste international foods, from Korean to Italian. Therefore, you will be able to learn about other cultures, since some people say (a major/main/basic/primary) representative of a culture is its foods.
Despite these benefits, some people believe preprocessed foods are not healthy. They have preservative substances, some of them are old or near to expiration dates, and also they have fewer vitamins in comparison with fresh foods. The next disadvantage of this lifestyle is increasing obesity in our societies due to the growing number of out-of-home meals.
In my opinion, cooking is an art and we should not eradicate this tradition from our lives. Cooking helps us to eliminate stress and have fun in our houses. Even some times it makes us creative to cook a meal with the ingredients that are available in our houses.
